Questions of Me

What are your spiritual/religious beliefs?
My beliefs are a combination of Christianity , East Asian, and pagan beliefs. I believe in forces in life and nature, and see life as a series of choices attempting to live in harmony with those forces. A few years ago I took a six-week vacation, part of that vacation was spent studying with an old hoodoo/voodoo practitioner. Also, I currently serve on the Administrative Board of a United Methodist church.

What do you look for in a guy?

I look for guys that are intelligent and have a good sense of humor. I like guys that can appreciate life, whether it be a walk in the woods, or a night at the theatre. Also, I like guys that appreciate spending time together, whether it be snuggling up front of a fire, or laying back in each others arms while watching a movie. I like guys to share my interests, but it isn’t a requirement. I like techies, sometimes I like to sit and tweak my systems and few other guys understand the purpose or what I am doing. I’m not superficial.

What is your favorite animal/pet?
I am a dog person. Dogs are loyal, love-unconditionally, and are a good judge of character. Who sees a puppy and doesn’t smile.

Do you have any body modifications?
I don’t have any piercings or tattoos. I have thought about getting a tattoo on the small of my back (I kinda want a sun and moon yin-yang mixture, I can draw it out for you if you really want to know.)

Do you believe in aliens?
Unusual question, but given that there is a nearly infinite number of planets in the universe, I believe it is naive to think that we have it all to ourselves. Whether or not they visit the Earth, I do not know.

What is your dream date/evening?
Cooking dinner together and then curling up in front of a fire and snuggling as we watch a movie. (Nothing fancy.)

What is your favorite fantasy?
Going out into a meadow right before a shower (rain) starts and spreading a blanket out for that special guy and I. Feeding each other fresh fruit and drinking a nice bottle of wine. Then making love in the rain. I am a water sign after-all.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
Nothing, I am who I am. Life is too short to live it wishing you were something that you aren’t.

Do you ask the guy out or do you wait for them to come to you?

I tend to wait, when it comes to relationships, I can be fairly shy. I even sound like a driveling idiot when I get around guys that I am attracted to (I get nervous).

What was the best Christmas gift you every received?
LIFE – I almost died from pneumonia on my first Christmas.

If you got a chance to see someone you haven’t seen in a long time who who would it be?
Dead – My maternal grandmother. She basically raised me when I was young and we always were extremely close. When she died, I wasn’t there. Like many people, I was working too much. I had delayed going to see her because the office needed me. When she died, not a single person in the office gave any kind of condolence – they were sh*ts!
Alive – An old friend, Amanda. I haven’t seen or spoken to her in several years. Our last conversation ended in an argument and a lot of hurt feelings. I sent her a few emails over the years to try to strike up a conversation, but nothing (either ignored or spam filters – who knows). I lost her number several moves ago.

Most of these questions are fairly old – from a previous incarnation of digitalfairy.com. So if there is something that you want to know, leave a comment and ask – I usually answer.
